Seven Events

Welcome to the website of Test Panel. At the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and Duke University (Durham, NC), we are interested in autobiographical memory, which are the memories a person has of his or her own life experiences. Autobiographical memory does not only consist of personal events that are remembered vividly, but also of autobiographical facts, which are simple pieces of personal information.

In this study we want to know what people's most important memories are. Participants will therefore be asked to give short descriptions of the seven most important events of their lives. Subsequently, they will be asked several small questions about these events. It will take about twenty minutes to complete the Seven Events study.

Before you can participate, we would like to ask you for some personal information. By answering this form, we assume that you are giving your informed content for this experiment. All the answers to the questions will remain confidential, and will not be used improperly nor given to third parties. The Institutional Review Board of Duke University have approved this test.
